A Coordinator from the Wells Green area has emailed me with some information about an individual trying to sell a mattress in the Wistaston / Rope area. One of the coordinator's friends was approached at home by a male in a white van with writing on the side. The male tried to sell the resident a new mattress for £250. The resident later learnt that some other friends had been hailed by a male in a white van offering a similar deal whilst out walking their dogs.
Unfortunately, they do not have any further details and can not recall what was written on the van.
I am emailing the coordinators in Crewe / Nantwich to ask if any members have any further information about this. If anyone has been approached by someone in this manner (or are approached after receiving this email) and can provide any further details such as description, what was written on the van or a vehicle registration number please contact me directly.
